The industry recognised route to low deposit financing of company vehicles. This scheme uses the future value of a vehicle to reduce monthly payments. Benefits can include 100% of monthly repayment offset against taxable profits.

Deposit's can be as low as 1 monthly rental, although the norm is 3 or 6 rentals in advance. 50% of the VAT payable on these agreements can be reclaimed where there is some personal use of a vehicle.

Vehicles funded in this way are treated as an off balance sheet expense.

Maintenance plans offer a fixed cost alternative to running and maintaining a fleet or a single vehicle. Can include or exclude specific things such as Routine Servicing, Maintenance and repairs (Brakes, clutches, cam belts etc), Tyres due to wear and tear, Breakdown cover and replacement vehicle for accident or repair.

Our plans benefit from major nationally negotiated purchase terms on things like Labour charges, Tyres and parts discounts. This can make a very big difference to running cost over the life of a vehicle.

Maintenance is paid monthly spreading the cost over the period, so great for budgeting and no major surprise bills that can easily appear especially if you are a higher mileage user.

Personal Contract Purchase or PCP as it is known is an excellent product and widely misunderstood/badly sold.

PCP offers the private individual the opportunity to acquire a new or nearly new car on a regular basis for a fixed monthly payment, allowing for deposit, mileage and maintenance. Payments on this scheme can be similar to that of a Contract Hire or Lease Scheme. Differences between PCP and Contract hire, no VAT on the monthly repayments.

The PCP agreement is regulated by the consumer credit act, offering its protection. PCP agreements can be more easily terminated early using a settlement rule versus the current value of the vehicle at the time. If you are the type of person that likes to change your car frequently then this could be the option for you!

Finance Lease

Benefits and Facts

Suitable for - Business users mainly VAT Registered Limited Company's, Partnerships and Sole Traders.

Half way house between a Contract hire and Hire purchase agreement. Usually involves a balloon payment reducing monthly cost. Payments are plus VAT. Works well for vehicles where mileage is uncertain or a client might want to keep a vehicle longer for a specific purpose. Payments similar to Contract Hire, more flexible options at the end.

Important note the Balloon payment is the responsibility of the customer. Finance lease transactions are on balance sheet and therefore different taxation rules apply.
