About the role:

 

You will be responsible for accurate and timely pricing information of vehicles on our website by using online systems to gain pricing information, manipulate the pricing into Excel files across different contract configurations and upload into the website.  You will be working as part of a small team of data analysts, and the role is critical to drive enquiries into the business through accurate pricing. It’s a fast paced and buzzing environment, so you should work well under pressure and be able to work diligently through your priorities.  Full on-the-job training is provided.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for gaining accurate pricing information from third party systems to gain timely pricing information
  • Analyse, manipulate and interpret the data to provide the best pricing across a range of different vehicles and different contract configurations
  • Upload the data file into the website and verify accuracy
  • Prioritise data tasks based on the requirements of the business and market demand, including reacting quickly to new promotions as they become available and reset priorities in a fast moving, competitive marketplace
  • Provide vehicle information, promotional information and pricing information to the Marketing Team as required for marketing campaigns
  • Competitor pricing analyse and marketplace benchmarking
  • Clear communication, both written and verbal, to the sales team and wider business
  • Allocation of enquiries from the CRM system to the sales team as required

 

About you:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (completed or currently studying, which includes use of data and analytics)
  • Ideally some previous work experience in either a data/analytic role and/or a customer facing role in fast moving environment
  • Highly numerate with a good technical skill set
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility and a positive outlook
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Data Analysis (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic formulae)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly resilient, team player

You’ll manage customer communication via email and telephone to ensure that all documentation, such as finance documents, proofs of identification, order and delivery updates, are managed in a timely and professional manner, maintaining our high customer service ethos. - Creating Vehicle Orders from internal systems

About the role:

This is a new management position within a growing and ambitious company in a fast moving sector, and reports directly into the Managing Director. The role requires accurate and timely pricing and information from a variety of sources to be displayed on the website, with a view to driving enquiries and ultimately sales. The role manages a growing team of Data Analysts and Data Processors.

 

Responsibilities:

- Accurate and timely data and pricing on the website, developing processes and improvements to drive and increase enquiry conversion rate

- Managing and coaching the data team in a fast moving and dynamic environment, ensuring priorities are identified and clearly communicated

- Developing and delivering reporting and management information to the board of directors to drive business performance; provide recommendations and insight from the data to drive results

- Managing the relationship with our external data consultant and ensuring the tools developed are implemented into the business

 

About you:

- You will be a highly numerate individual with a good technical skill set, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast moving, commercial environment

- Previous experience of automotive CAP data would be an advantage

- You will have advanced knowledge of Excel and Data Analysis, as well as people management experience

- Key will be the ability to communicate data and recommendations in a clear and visual manner, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Automotive experience in procurement / vehicle leasing and knowledge of CAP Data (our industry standard data) would be a significant advantage
